The Blue Monday “Anvil” in the picture below actually belonged to Joy Division / New Order manger Rob Gretton.
There were only between 8-10 produced.
Footage of the manufacture of the “anvil” is available to view on the DVD release of Black Monday: The Last Days Of Factory Records showing how the “anvil” for Fac73 was made.To those not in the know Fac73 was the 12″ Blue Monday by New Order and the “anvil” was commissioned by Factory to celebrate sales of 500,000 copies of said record.

Many thanks to Vince Nzo for the Anvil Picture.
